Prince Harry and Meghan Markle face a ‘nuclear option’ after a Tory MP vowed to change the law to revoke the couple of their titles. Bob Seeley comdemned the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of the “poisonously insidious” smear against senior Royal Family members after the release of Omid Scobie’s bombshell book Endgame.

The Isle of Wight MP argued Harry and Meghan “should not keep the titles and privileges if they trash an institution that plays an important part in our nation’s life”.

It comes after Scobie – rumoured to be a close pal of Harry and Meghan – released his explosive book last week, with the identity of two royals who allegedly made comments about Archie’s skin colour revealed in the Dutch translation.

The Dutch edition made headlines around the world and saw the book pulled from shelves in the Netherlands over the “error”. Scobie continues to deny he sent such a manuscript, but has refused to apologise to the royals.
