Meghan Markle was warned that “everything is going to s***” by one of her former UK employees after the latest explosive claims regarding her alleged behaviour towards staff, reports have claimed.
The Duchess of Sussex has found herself in hot water again after Vanity Fair published a scathing report citing former Spotify staff who accused her of making them take “extended breaks” from work or undergo “long-term therapy” after working with her.
In contrast, producer Jane Marie, who collaborated with the Sussex couple while they developed audio projects at Archewell, told the outlet: “She’s just a lovely, genuine person.”
Meghan has previously received bad press regarding her alleged attitude towards staff. Last year, she was dubbed “Duchess Difficult” by the Hollywood Reporter, which sparked a media war – with different US outlets citing their own sources about Meghan’s demeanour.
Daily Beast claimed former staff said Meghan was a “demon” boss who had “psycho moments” and made people “feel like s***”.
Meghan did not comment on last year’s reports, but they followed previous bullying allegations made against the Duchess in 2018, which she has long and vehemently denied.
Now, the Daily Beast’s sources – who are allegedly the Duchess’s former UK employees – have come back into the spotlight again, saying they feel “vindicated” by the latest bombshell report. They added that people who claim Meghan is the “world’s greatest boss should be ashamed of themselves”.
They told the outlet: “I feel desperately sorry for the people affected because I have been there, but I also feel vindicated.
“It’s obviously very tempting to work for her when you are being wooed and love-bombed, but people should be in no doubt – she is a nightmare.
“I would think the atmosphere will be particularly hellish now everything is going to s***. She doesn’t do disappointment well.”
