The extended Danish Royal Family joined Queen Margrethe II on the Balcony of Amalienborg Palace to mark her 83rd Birthday on April 16th. This was the first time the Danish Royal Family have celebrated Queen Margrethe’s Birthday at Amalienborg since 2018, and today also mark’s Queen Margrethe’s return to public duties after her back surgery.

Queen Margrethe II was joined by Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, Count Nikolai, Count Felix, Count Henrik, and Countess Athena of Monpezat as she waved to crowds and viewed the Changing of the Guard from the Balcony of Christian IX’s Palace, Amalienborg in Copenhagen to mark her Birthday.
