Queen Letizia stuns in £4,100 ballgown and glittering tiara at Dutch state banquet | Royal | News

Queen Letizia turned heads on Wednesday evening as she attended a state banquet hosted by the Dutch royals at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam as part of a two-day visit with King Felipe in the Netherlands.

The Spanish queen oozed elegance and grandeur as she donned the Suraia dress in cobalt blue by Spanish designer The 2nd Skin CO. (£4,108).

The stunning piece featured a crew neckline, quarter sleeves with bows and a full maxi skirt with pockets and a trail.

Letizia accessorised the dress with a yellow sash, the Joyas de Pasar diamond earrings and grey pearl brooch.

Joyas de Pasar is the family’s private collection of jewellery only worn on special occasions.

Another one commented: “It’s giving me glamor, it’s giving me royal, it’s an A for me, love [heart eyes emoji](sic)”. Lastly, a fourth royal fan wrote: “Love this clean and simple elegance. She’s Audrey Hepburnesque in this gorgeous gown. What a beautiful lady. It’s also wonderful that they can speak Spanish together.” Meanwhile, others were not so impressed by the gown, while some claiming the tiara is too big for the Spanish royal.
