Queen Consort Camilla is ‘too old’ to go horse riding, she reveals

THE Queen Consort has revealed she’s “too old” to go horse riding any more.

During last week’s State visit to Germany, Camilla told schoolchildren she no longer rides but still finds time to connect with her horses.

The once-keen equestrian and horse race fan also told how she watched a video on the trip of one of her horses giving birth to a foal.

Speaking with the kids in Hamburg, Camilla said: “I used to have horses I rode but sadly I don’t ride any longer.

“I think I’m too old but I have race horses. Last night I watched one of the foals being born, which was very exciting.”

King Charles is an accomplished rider, but does not share the same enthusiasm for racing as his wife.
