Queen Camilla is often known to wear clothes by designers Anna Valentine, Bruce Oldfield, and Fiona Clare, with hats designed by milliner Philip Treacy. As the year comes to an end, Royal Central is taking a look at some of her most notable fashion moments.
Commonwealth Day
On 11 March, Commonwealth Day, Her Majesty wore a sky blue ensemble by Bruce Oldfield with a coordinating hat by Philip Treacy to the annual service. The ceremony, which is held at London’s Westminster Abbey, is in celebration of The Commonwealth’s countries.
This year marked 75 years since the creation of the modern Commonwealth with the signing of the London Declaration. Queen Camilla led the Royal Family at the service as King Charles continued his cancer treatment.
International Women’s Day
In honour of International Women’s Day on 12 March, Queen Camilla was presented with her very own bespoke Barbie doll. Notably, the two were matching with a royal blue dress and black cape.

While we don’t know who designed Barbie’s ensemble, we do know it was Amanda Wakeley who designed Her Majesty’s.
Royal Ascot 2024
During day three of this year’s Royal Ascot, The Queen wore a striking white coat dress by Dior with a fabulous hat featuring an even more fabulous floral trim.

The Queen also packed a jewellery punch by wearing a stunning emerald brooch, originally a gift to Queen Mary, with her outfit.
Wimbledon
While many come to watch a proper tennis match, many are also on the lookout for fashion during the annual sports event.

On day 10, Camilla donned a cream Anna Valentine dress with a giraffe print on the hem and added a sweet brooch in the shape of a dog from Van Cleef and Arpels.
Braemar Gathering
There is no doubt that blue is a favourite of Her Majesty and for a special event, on the eve of the anniversary of her husband’s accession as King, she chose the shade again.

During the annual Braemar Highland Gathering in Aberdeenshire, Her Majesty wore a dress adorned with a pattern of different feathers, adding a brown beret with feather adornment to complete the outfit.
The State Banquet for the Emir of Qatar
For the State Banquet for the Emir of Qatar, The Queen wore a red Fiona Clare evening gown. She previously wore it for the South Korean State Banquet in 2023. She matched the ensemble with the Order of the Garter and the royal Family Orders of King Charles III and Queen Elizabeth II.

The event was special for another reason as this marked the first time she wore the Diamond Kokoshnik tiara that originally belonged to Queen Alexandra. It was a favourite of her late mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II.
