The King is expected to be in Scotland during Prince Harry’s visit and is not expected to travel.
Prince Harry is understood to be located in the London area, although exact locations remain secret due to the ongoing security concerns following his boasts about killing 25 Taliban fighters in his book Spare – but could make the journey to Scotland to visit his father.
While some sources believe the king is in favour of meeting with his son, others report his close advisors are currently opposed to any such meeting.
Among those currently said to be advising against the briefing is Queen Camilla.
The Daily Beast reports that the Queen does not want her husband to undergo additional stress as he recovers from cancer treatment ahead of a planned trip to Australia.
Citing a friend of the queen, the outlet reported: “She has been the principal voice urging Charles to slow down and take things easy. The last thing she wants him to do is to get stressed out over a meeting with Harry.”
