Queen Camilla keeps it classic with Australia wardrobe

King Charles and Queen Camilla have had a successful visit to Australia with big crowds turning out to see them as this historic visit came to an end in Sydney. The Queen has maintained her classic style for the visit with several looks from her favourite designers. 

As she touched down in Australia, Her Majesty wore a bright blue day dress by Fiona Clare which featured a pleated skirt and embroidery on the bust.

She also wore a sentimental piece of jewellery – the Wattle Brooch – for the arrival. Queen Elizabeth II received the yellow and white diamond brooch on her visit to Australia as Queen in 1954.

After a rest day on Saturday, Queen Camilla wore an Anna Valentine coat dress and day dress in pale green for a visit to St. Thomas’ Church i Sydney.

The Queen paired the coat dress with a Lock & Co hat and Van Cleef & Arpels jewels on Sunday as she began her official agenda.

The pale yellow straw hat and green dress ensured that this moment was marked by Australia’s national colours.

On Monday, The Queen chose another Anna Valentine look, this time a white silk crepe day dress.

She wore the Diamond Shell Brooch, a piece that the Queen Mother originally received as a gift from writer Winifred Hope Thomson.

For a visit to botanic gardens in Canberra on Monday, Queen Camilla wore a new blue and white patterned Fiona Clare day dress. She also turned to her trusted Chanel pumps and Van Cleef & Arpels again for her accessories.

She then wore another Fiona Clare day dress on Tuesday, this time in a cornflower blue.

She chose a brooch from her own collection, a Van Cleef & Arpels piece, a white gold, diamond, and sapphire dragonfly brooch.

For a visit to the Sydney Opera House later that, Queen Camilla wore a repeated white Fiona Clare dress with black vertical detailing.

She also wore a badge with a personal significance, that of the Royal Australian Corps of the Military Police. Her Majesty was appointed as Colonel-in-Chief in 2012 during a 2012 visit.
