King Charles looked in good form as he enjoyed the Braemar Games today, the third since he ascended the throne.

The monarch, 75, appeared to be in high spirits as he donned a traditional kilt and sporran to watch the event that was rarely missed by the late Queen.

The King represented the Royal Family alongside his wife Queen Camilla – who returned to Scotland specially for the event following a busy work schedule in England this week.

The Braemar Gathering is one of the most famous of the Highland Games.
