Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie has been at the forefront of royal duties this week, carrying out engagements with and without her family in Luxembourg and Poland.

Earlier this week, Stéphanie visited the Museum of Photography in Krakow, Poland, to view an exhibition dedicated to Edward Steichen, a photographer with ties to Luxembourg.

The Hereditary Grand Duchess is a patron of the exhibit; it is also sponsored by the National Museum of Archaeology and History and Art, the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the Poland Chamber of Commerce.

Stéphanie viewed the exhibit on Monday, with the Grand Ducal Court commenting that the photographer’s oeuvre is displayed through “pictorialism, landscapes, fashion or celebrity portraits, magazine covers,” and more. She also visited the main exhibit at the Museum of Photography: ‘What Does The Photo Do?’

On Facebook, the museum wrote, “We are honoured by this visit and grateful that Princess Stéphanie, among her many responsibilities, found time to visit Kracow.”

Elsewhere this week, Stéphanie was joined by her husband, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, and their two sons, Prince Charles and Prince François, on a visit to the ‘Winter Wonderland’ festival at the Kraïzbierg Foundation in Dudelange.

The family of four were there to view the festivities and celebrate the season as put on by the disabled members who are supported by the Kraïzbierg Foundation.

Young Prince Charles was taken by the gifts on display, with the Grand Ducal Court sharing on social media that the “lovely gifts…attracted the curiosity of Prince Charles.”

The Grand Ducal Court added: “The [Hereditary] Couple thanks the disabled and the staff for their warm welcome and the organisation of this beautiful party.”
