Happy Birthday to Princess Rajwa Al Hussein of Jordan, who turns 31 today! The Saudi Architect is married to the Jordanian Crown Prince and is set to be the next Jordanian Queen Consort!
The youngest of four children born to Saudi businessman Khaled Al Saif and Azza Al Sudairi, a cousin of the current King of Saudi Arabia, Rajwa bint Khaled bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al Saif was born in Riyadh, where she completed her secondary education. Rajwa Al Saif did her Bachelor of Architecture degree at the Syracuse University’s School of Architecture in 2017 before she got an Associate of Arts degree in visual communications from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in 2019, working at the architecture firm Patterns Design in Los Angeles before moving back to Riyadh to work at the Designlab Experience design studio.
In 2022, Rajwa Al Saif got engaged to Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan, the eldest son of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, with the couple getting married at the Zahran Palace in Amman in June 2023, followed by a Banquet at the Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman. Upon her marriage, she became Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, and not Crown Princess since her position as the future Queen of Jordan will be confirmed only after the Crown Prince’s Accession.
Princess Rajwa accompanied Crown Prince Hussein on his official visit to Singapore in 2024 and London and Bahrain in 2025, in addition to a series of Official Engagements within Jordan. In August 2024, Princess Rajwa gave birth to a daughter, Princess Iman Bint Al Hussein, at King Hussein Medical Center in Amman. We wish HRH a very Happy Birthday and Many Happy Returns!
