The second in line to the throne, who has just finished her secondary education, will be an assistant and an environmental worker at Uranienborg from September and through the autumn.

After that, she will begin a year of military training which will take her to Skjold camp in Inner Troms, the base of the 2nd Battalion and the Engineer Battalion.

The eldest child of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit is in line to be the Supreme Commander of the Norwegian Armed Forces when she eventually succeeds to the throne.
