Princess Eugenie celebrated her 34th birthday over the weekend and shared a personal photograph on her Instagram account to thank well wishers.
The royal shared a photo of herself and her youngest son, Ernest Brooksbank, who was born on 30 May 2023.
Princess Eugenie captioned the photo: “The best gift of all are my boys.. so on this birthday I’m cherishing family and loved ones.”
Princess Eugenie married her longtime boyfriend Jack Brooksbank in October 2018 and the couple share two sons: August and Ernest.
Last week, Princess Eugenie joined schoolchildren from Garden House School in Chelsea for storytime, reading Elmer the Patchwork Elephant as part of the Elephant Family’s Little Egg Hunt art installation.
The Little Egg Hunt is 12 art installations designed to form an Easter Egg trail through Chelsea to showcase the conservation work of the Elephant Family.
Princess Eugenie said in a statement on the Elephant Family’s website: “I’m delighted to support this year’s Little Egg Hunt in support of the Elephant Family. A wonderful celebration of art and a reminder about nurturing the incredible animals that share our planet.”
The Elephant Family was founded by Queen Camilla’s late brother, Mark Shand, as a way to “protect Asia’s magnificent wildlife in the most joyful and engaging way possible,” according to the charity’s official website.
King Charles and Queen Camilla are joint presidents of the Elephant Family and have attended many functions in support of its mission.
After Thursday’s event, Princess Eugenie gave a brief update on her uncle’s health, noting that King Charles has been “doing well” and would “also be very proud today because the Elephant Family is very close to his heart, too.”
