Princess Eugenie has marked her 35th birthday in a sweet way as she uploaded a new family snap on her personal Instagram account just one day after taking a trip to London for a special gift. The Princess of York will undoubtedly celebrate the occasion privately today with her nearest and dearest.

However, on Sunday morning, she took to Instagram to upload a new photo of herself sitting on a wooden table bench with her two sons, August and Ernest, sitting right across with plates of food in front of them. Eugenie, who was seen wearing a pinstripe shirt, while she sported a fresh face with no make-up, captioned the post: “Birthday besties”. Royal fans flocked to the comment section to wish the royal a happy birthday.

Meanwhile, Hello! reported that the family, minus Ernest, took a trip to Westfield on Saturday and visited the LEGO store, where they purchased two sets, a mini orchid for Eugenie and a plane set for August.

The shopkeeper claimed that the orchid set was for Eugenie, who allegedly said: “This one’s for me, for my birthday.”

An onlooker told the outlet: “They strolled through the store just like any regular family – no security, no fuss. It was the perfect time to shop in peace since the shopping centre is quieter in the mornings.

“Princess Eugenie seemed genuinely excited about her upcoming birthday, and judging by her choice of treat – the LEGO Orchid set – she might just be a big fan of building blocks!”

The outlet claimed Eugenie wore a pair of baggy light wash jeans and a dark pinstripe shirt – which sounds identical to the one she was wearing in the picture she shared on Sunday.

Her husband, Jack Brooksbank reportedly also kept things casual, sporting blue jeans, Nike trainers and a hooded jumper.
