The heir to the throne of the Netherlands is in hospital after falling from a horse.
Princess Catharina-Amalia, 21, suffered a break to an upper arm bone in the accident.
She was taken to hospital in Utrecht and doctors are now planning to operate.
The Dutch royal house said that the impact on her official schedule isn’t yet known and more details will be released as they become clear.
Princess Amalia is a keen equestrian and has been riding for years.
She is currently completing her education although her time at university hasn’t been straight forward. She had to leave her original studies in the Netherlands after receiving threats and ended up following courses in Spain where she had more freedom.
The Princess of Orange became heir to the throne of the Netherlands in April 2013 when her father took the throne as King Willem-Alexander.
