Prince William’s hilarious two-word reaction to England Euro 2024 win | Royal | News

Prince William has tweeted a hilarious two-word reaction following England’s dramatic extra-time win over Slovakia at Euro 2024.

England were losing 1-0 deep into injury time before Jude Bellingham’s stunning overhead kick drew them level.

Harry Kane then headed in from close range at the start of extra-time before the Three Lions held on for the win that takes them into the quarter-finals.

Following the game, Prince William tweeted on @KensingtonRoyal: “Emotional rollercoaster! Let’s go @England! Quarter finals here we come! W.”

William, who is President of the FA, shared another post under his comment from the official England X social account which featured a photograph of Jude Bellingham kissing the head of Harry Kane.

Also sharing his thoughts during the game was the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak who posted on X “it’s not over until it’s over” after Jude Bellingham’s equaliser against Slovakia.

It comes after the Prime Minister earlier struck a defiant note, insisting the Tories could still win the General Election despite languishing in the polls.

A picture of Mr Sunak watching the game was posted on X, formerly Twitter, with the message: “It’s not over until it’s over.”

Reacting to Prince William’s post on social media, many footbal fans echoed his sentiments. One person posted: “My heart can’t take another like that.”

Another added: “Exhausting viewing. Excellent result though! Well played lads! Onwards and upwards.”

Referring to the popular England song made famous from Euro’ 96, one person joked: “Oh my god William it’s coming home.”
