And the manager is feeling the pressure – after a lacklustre performance against Slovakia in their first knockout match of the Euros, England are the underdogs in the match against in form Switzerland.
Football pundits are agreed that anything less than a win could spell the end of Southgate’s successful run as England manager. This is the 100th game in which he’s taking charge of the side.

The pressures appeared to be far from Prince William’s mind as he arrived.
The prince, who is president of the Football Association, was all smiles as he took his seat at the Dusseldorf Arena.
It’s not the first game that Prince William has attended this tournament. In the group stages, he sat alongside King Frederik of Denmark as England took on the Danes.
