Prince Louis’s 7 best Buckingham Palace moments ranked | Royal | News

Prince Louis was back to his scene-stealing best during the VE Day 80th anniversary celebrations in London earlier this year.

Louis was spotted wiping his dad, Prince William’s uniform when they were watching the parade.

Louis also caused royal fans to laugh yet again when he started mimicking his older brother, Prince George.

While the pair sat next to each other, Louis was spotted catching a glimpse of his brother gently brushing the hair from in front of his face. Seconds later, his younger brother copied him in a mocking action.

Prince Louis first Trooping appearance

Prince Louis made his first appearance on a Buckingham Palace balcony in 2019 for Trooping the Colour when he was just over one year old.

Louis was brought out in his mum, the Princess of Wales’ arms, dressed in a blue and white outfit – very similar to the one Prince William wore at the same event in 1984.

In fact, the little royal’s waving was so animated that he accidentally hit Queen Camilla, on her hat. Camilla didn’t seem to mind though, she turned to her grandson and gave him an adoring smile.

Platinum Jubilee

During the Platinum Jubilee pageant, Louis sat with his mother and entertained viewers by pulling silly faces, including sticking out his tongue and putting his fingers in his mouth. His unfiltered reactions quickly went viral.

Prince Louis watched the Platinum Jubilee Pageant with his family as it made its way through the city, telling the story of the Queen’s 70-year reign and how this had transformed society.

“The Pageant will serve as an opportunity to gather and pay tribute to Her Majesty. It will culminate with the singing of the National Anthem, ‘God Save the Queen’ and a gospel choir to the sounds of the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines,” the Royal Family’s website said of the event.

Louis' wave on the King's Coronation

Prince Louis gave crowds a unique wave from balcony of Buckingham Palace on the day of the King’s Coronation in 2023.

As the Royal Family lined up in front of crowds on the Mall, and the sound of cheers swelled, Louis offered back a sweet two-handed wave.

He also gestured expressively into the crowd, before pointing and appearing to say: “Look over there!”

The adorable moment came after the young prince had captured hearts by fidgeteing, yawning and singing his way through his grandfather’s Coronation.
