Happy Birthday to Prince Hashem bin Abdullah of Jordan, who turns 20 today! The fourth child and younger son of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan, Prince Hashem is the younger brother of Crown Prince Hussein, Princess Iman, and Princess Salma, and shares a birthday with his father.
Educated at King’s Academy, a boarding school in Madaba, where he graduated in 2023, Prince Hashem was commissioned in the Jordanian Armed Forces as second lieutenant in 2021. He is currently pursuing his higher education at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
The second in line to the Jordanian throne, Prince Hashem has twice served as Regent, in the August of 2023 and June of 2024, in the absence of both the King and Crown Prince. Prince Hashem was also responsible to escort his sister-in-law, Princess Raja, on her Wedding Day in 2023. We wish HRH a very Happy Birthday and Many Happy Returns!
