Prince Harry set to take Prince Archie on a special father-son-trip to a place where he feels close to Princess Diana

PRINCE Harry is reportedly set to take son Archie on an unforgettable trip to Africa where he hopes to make new father-son memories.

The Duke of Sussex has previously said trips to the continent helped him deal with the loss of his mother Diana, Princess of Wales who tragically died in a car crash in 1997.

Alongside this it is rumoured another film project is underway after Harry and Meghan’s successful Netflix docuseries.

Harry has admitted he feels most “at peace” in the place he intends to return with his son Archie who is now four years old .

According to Women’s day sources close to the Prince said: “He’s always wanted to show his kids the continent that has been so special to him for so many years.”

“It’s here he’s felt close to his mum where he followed in her footsteps, and it’s almost a familial right that he gets the joy of showing Africa to his son.”

It was also noted Prince Harry looked visibly emotional in 2022 when he last visited Rwanda.

Sources say the Duke of Sussex is keen to make up for lost time especially since he missed special moments with Archie on his 4th birthday which clashed with the King’s coronation.

Prince Harry has hinted that his son is now old enough to appreciate the once in a lifetime opportunity to make new memories.

Prince Harry undoubtedly felt close to his mother Diana, Princess of Wales who took her AIDS charity work to South Africa on many occasions.

Prince Harry has said: “On my wall, and in my heart every day, is an image of my mother and Mandela meeting in Cape Town in 1997.”

In this quote he was referencing a photography of his late mother with Nelson Mandela during a keynote speech at the U.N and revealed.

It seems those fond memories will continue as Prince Harry plans to share them with his first born son.

The young Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet featured in Harry and Meghan’s Netflix docuseries when it aired last year.

But the new project Harry undertakes may be solo which means he will go without his wife Meghan.

It is believed the Princess will stay home with their youngest child Princess Lilbet.
