The Sussexes are attempting to portray a “glitzy” Hollywood image with their Christmas card, according to an expert.

Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle selected the picture to send a message about their state of mind according to the body language specialist.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex beamed on the front of their card in a picture from the closing ceremony at this year’s Invictus Games.

Body language expert Darren Stanton said: “The picture shows an enthusiastic-looking Meghan and Harry in a glitzy setting.

“It’s a good way of promoting their charity and putting them in a positive frame, as they both look happy to be there.”

The Invictus Games is one of Harry’s key achievements as the Duke set up the international event for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women in 2014.

The pair would have been eager to convey their happiness in their Christmas card according to Darren.

He said: “I think the biggest thing about this Christmas card is that the picture was taken during the Invictus Games, which is one of their biggest achievements of the past year.”

He added it was taken at a time when Harry was at his “happiest” with Meghan by his side to support him.

Meghan and Harry’s Christmas card also included a message to fans. It read: “On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation. We wish you a very Happy Holiday Season. Thanks for all the support in 2023!”

This is the second year in a row they’ve opted against sharing their children, Archie, four, and Lilibet, two, on the card.

As the big ticket items in the Sussexes’s PR plan to conquer America backfired in 2023 it’s left some wondering if the pair can make a comeback in 2024.

Now, according to a source, they are planning to turn around their dimming stars with a “total system reboot”.

“They know of their supposed failures and how it’s viewed, but they have almost gone more tech than Hollywood. Fail big and all that,” reports People magazine.

“They have swapped in and out all sorts of projects and people and are embarking on a total system reboot.”
