PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle are set to make their first joint public appearance since their spokesperson claimed they were involved in a car chase.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been keeping a low profile in recent months but are looking to finally head out together next month.

The pair will be hosting Harry’s Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The last time the couple attended a public event their spokesperson claimed they were involved in a “near-catastrophic car chase”, which they said dragged out for more than two hours.
They claimed Harry and Meghan’s car was the target of a “relentless pursuit” by paparazzi after an awards ceremony in New York.
However, cops and a cab driver slammed the claims, dubbing them “exaggerated”.
New York Post today reported the couple will head to Germany for the games, which Harry started in 2014 to give former soldiers the chance to compete in an international multi-sport event.
The games will start on September 9 – one day after the first-year anniversary of the Queen’s death.
On the final day of the event, Meghan is set to host an “emotional” farewell show for families and competitors.
This will be closely followed by a closing speech by the Prince.
The news comes after the Duke and Duchess put on a united front as they gushed over Archie, four, and Lilibet, two, in their latest appearance.
The pair looked cosy sitting side-by-side despite recent claims the pair are taking time apart.
They spoke in a video to support the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund, which aims to work with young people.
During their appearance they donned beaming smiles while they spoke lovingly about their children.
Harry said: “Thank you for doing everything that you do. Our kids especially are incredibly grateful.”
Meghan added: “They don’t know it yet, but they will.”
The cosy video followed speculation that the pair are giving each other space.
But these rumours have been swiftly denied by an insider.
A source close to the couple told Page Six: “It’s not true, it’s literally made up.”
