Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are committed to “crush and destroy” the Royal Family, a royal author has claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been at odds with senior members of the family since before they announced they would be stepping down from their official roles in 2020.
They have since levelled a series of egregious allegations at the institution about the treatment they received, and Harry repeatedly demanded relatives and staff apologise to Meghan for their conduct.
The couple recently appeared to move on from their crusade against the royals but Angela Levin claimed reports of the Duke looking for a new home in the UK suggest they remain set on damaging the institution.
Speaking to GB News, Levin said: “Meghan doesn’t want to come, we know that. But he does and people say he wants to meet all his family again and get the kids to know them.

“That’s nonsense, isn’t it? Because just a month ago, they were looking at a part of Los Angeles where all the top sports people were and they wanted to live there. Now they want to live in London.
“I think it’s just a way of getting on to the headlines and I think it’s nonsense, but I think they will be dreadful to King Charles because I think they will come here.”
The couple moved to their former home, Frogmore Cottage, shortly before the birth of their son Prince Archie Harrison’s birth in 2019.
However, their time in the quaint five-bedroom property was cut short as they relocated first to Canada for a brief six-week family holiday and then permanently to Meghan’s native California.
Levin also claimed the Duke is set on securing an apology for Meghan and is ready to return regularly to the UK until he wears down his father.
She told presenter Patrick Christys: “They were trying to crush and destroy what they’re doing.
“They will find out what’s going to happen and they’ll do it their way the day before and ruin it.
“I think they want to get their own back. Harry’s determined to get his father to apologise to his wife, he must have it, and that’s why he’ll come back and [not] go anywhere.”
Levin added: “They’re no longer a nice couple. I don’t think they’ve got the right to tell us what to do about anything in any area, actually. They’re not royals, they haven’t got the experience. It’s all about them.”
Harry and Meghan have been back in the UK rarely since their departure, with the Duchess only returning briefly last year to attend the late Queen’s funeral.
