Prince Andrew has been accused of acting like “a spoiled brat” as his “ridiculous” behaviour has been savaged by a royal expert.
Royal commentator Charles Rae has unleashed a scathing critique of Prince Andrew for his alleged refusal to walk the late Queen’s cherished corgis.
Mr Rae slammed the Duke of York’s conduct as “absolutely ridiculous” slamming him for behaving like “a spoiled brat who has just thrown his toys out of the pram”.
Amidst swirling rumours, it appears Prince Andrew is “sulking” and passing off the duty of walking his newly inherited royal corgis to palace aides.
The Duke shares responsibility for Muick and Sandy, the late Queen Elizabeth’s dogs, with Sarah Ferguson at their Royal Lodge residence.
Mr Rae told GB News: “This absolutely ridiculous. I mean, Andrew is very much on Santa’s naughty list, and he is acting like a spoiled brat who’s just thrown his toys out of the pram.”
“And there’s no metaphorically kicking the corgis. It’s ridiculous. He’s got five other dogs there as well, so they’ve got to be walked too. And I’m not suggesting that Fergie is doing all the walking.”
“It is tradition for Royal flunkies to look after the dogs as well. I mean, even when the Queen had the corgis, there were flunkies around.”
“He’s got no purpose in life anymore. I mean, from what we’ve gathered, he does set a lot of time on his sofa just feeling sorry for himself.”
“He got himself into all these all these dramas and messes and everything else. I don’t know what else he can expect, you know that.”
The Duke’s alleged refusal to walk the corgis comes amid new controversy over his links to an alleged Chinese spy.
According to Britain’s High Court, Andrew had developed an “unusual degree of trust” with Chinese businessman Yang Tenbo, also known as Chris Yang.
The businessman has since been banned from the UK over spying concerns, though he denies the allegations.
Prince Andrew has stated that “nothing of a sensitive nature” was discussed with Yang and their meetings occurred “through official channels”.
The scandal has led to Andrew’s withdrawal from both King Charles’ pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace and the Royal family’s Christmas celebrations at Sandringham.
