King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands are hosting President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa of Portugal on his two-day State Visit to The Netherlands on December 10th and 11th, following their State Visit to Portugal in 2017.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima officially welcomed President Rebelo de Sousa outside the Royal Palace on Dam Square in Amsterdam, followed by a Luncheon inside the Royal Palace.
After an inspection of the guard of honour, the President laid a wreath at the National Monument on Dam Square. Later, King Willem-Alexander joined President Rebelo de Sousa for an economic seminar in Amsterdam and a visit to the Portuguese Synagogue in Amsterdam.
The Princess of Orange joined King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands as they hosted a State Banquet in honour of President Rebelo de Sousa at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam. Both the King and President gave speeches.
King Willem-Alexander wore White Tie with the Military Order of Christ. Queen Máxima repeated a Jan Taminiau gown with the Mellerio Ruby Tiara and Necklace and the Military Order of Christ.
The Princess of Orange wore the Diamond Star Tiara and the Military Order of Christ.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima undertook a State Visit to Portugal in 2017.
