Olympic Gala at the Louvre 


Royal Guests and Heads of State attended the Gala Dinner hosted by the International Olympic Committee and the French President at the Louvre in Paris on July 25th, on the eve of the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach and Claudia Bach greeted the Royal Guests and Heads of State in front of the Louvre Pyramid, ahead of a gala dinner hosted by the IOC and the French presidency at the Louvre in Paris.

King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark launched the opening of the Danish pavilion at the Maison du Danemark on the Champs-Elysées in Paris.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted a reception for athletes and other members of the Spanish Olympic team at the Spanish Embassy in Paris, on the eve of the opening ceremony.

Princess Anne joined a Reception for the British Olympic team at the British Embassy in Paris.

A few days ago, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Meeting in Paris was attended by Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, Prince Albert II of Monaco, the Princess Royal, Princess Nora of Liechtenstein, Marchioness of Mariño, Prince Feisal Al Hussein of Jordan, Prince Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck of Bhutan, and Princess Reema Bandar Al-Saud of Saudi Arabia.
