The Office of Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan has released a new portrait of the Queen for her birthday.

The Queen is seen in a dark green dress while looking away from the camera. Details on when and where the image was taken were not released.

Her Majesty’s Office also released dozens of photographs from the past year, highlighting important moments, events and engagements.

Images from the weddings of King Abdullah and Queen Rania’s eldest son, Crown Prince Hussein to Princess Rajwa and their daughter, Princess Iman to Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, were included, as were photographs from the graduations of their other two children, Princess Salma (from USC) and Prince Hashem (from high school).

The Queen highlighted Earthshot, the state visit of the King and Queen of Sweden, her attendance at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington D.C., King Charles III’s coronation, and her visit to the White House.

Queen Rania of Jordan was born on 31 August 1970 in Kuwait to Palestinian parents. Highly educated, Rania worked at Apple before marrying the now King Abdullah of Jordan in 1993.
