Princess Margriet of the Netherlands and Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven attended the 43rd annual Netherland-America Foundation Ball at The Plaza Hotel in New York City on the evening of November 15th.
The Ball, which used to be known as the Peter Stuyvesant Ball, is organised by the Netherland America Foundation, of which Princess Margriet and Pieter van Vollenhoven are patrons.
The Netherland America Foundation (NAF) develops numerous activities in the cultural, scientific and educational fields with the aim of promoting Dutch-American friendship. The proceeds of the Ball are used for scholarships and other exchange programs in the field of education, science and culture.
Princess Margriet wore the Dutch Diamond Bandeau and her Diamond Earrings.
