Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco were joined by members of the extended Monegasque Princely Family for the annual National Day Celebrations in Monte Carlo on November 19th. National Day, also known as The Sovereign Prince’s Day, is held on the day of St. Rainier, the namesake saint of Prince Rainier III, the father of Prince Albert.
In the morning, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene were accompanied by Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie, their children, and respective spouses for reviewing the Guard in the Courtyard of the Palais du Prince.
Later, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene were joined by Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie for a special National Day Mass at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Monte Carlo.
Afterwards, the extended Princely Family were joined by the children, including Hereditary Prince Jacques (in the Order of Grimaldi) and Princess Gabriella, on the Balcony of the Palais du Prince to watch the military parade.
In the evening, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene (wearing the sash and star of the Order of St. Charles) were joined by Princess Caroline (wearing her Sapphire Necklace with the sash and star of the Order of St. Charles) for the annual Monaco National Day Gala Performance at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo.
