Meghan’s Markle “mask slipped” and her “true colours showed” during a recent public appearance according to a royal expert.
The Duchess of Sussex was in attendance at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge event in Wellington, Florida, where her husband, Prince Harry where was playing.
In an uncomfortable blunder caught on camera, Meghan told a woman not to stand next to Prince Harry while posing for a photo with the winning trophy.
The Mail on Sunday’s Editor at Large, Charlotte Griffiths, said this was a sign Meghan’s true colours were showing.
Speaking on Palace Confidential, she said: “Megan’s mask slipped for sure and we saw her true colours I’d say.
“Of course the Netflix cameras were rolling but Megan I think in her mind, clearly she’s got a a very photographic mind, I’m guessing she was imagining the photos and she wanted to be the woman next to Harry clearly.”
According to Griffiths, this is not the first time Meghan has acted this way, as she recounted another memorable incident in 2022 where the Duchess attempted to “edge her way to the front”.
“She couldn’t quite make away with her hat underneath all their arms,” Griffiths added.
“It was just a choreography nightmare and it goes to show that she’s desperate to be front and centre of these things.”
