Mike Tindall announces new book that vows to be ‘more personal than ever’ | Royal | News

Mike Tindall has just announced that he has written a very “personal” book with his close pals Alex Payne and James Haskell. The hosts of the popular podcast The Good the Bad and the Rugby have written a second book, following the success of their first book, Unleashed, last year.

The second in the series will be released on November 6, and vows to reveal “the personal, the vulnerable and the downright absurd”. A post announcing the release said: “They’re back – and they’re unlocking everything. Alex, James & Mike return with a brand-new book: The Good, The Bad & The Rugby – UNLOCKED.

“Bigger. Bolder. More personal than ever. From the games that made them to the moments they’ve never shared – this is nearly 60 years of raw, real, and ridiculous rugby stories, laid bare.

“The highs, the heartbreaks, the hangovers. The personal. The vulnerable. The downright absurd.

“Pre-order now via the link in bio – and get ready to go deeper into the world of rugby than ever before. This time, it’s personal.”

The new book promises to give an intimate account of the authors’ “most treasured days in rugby,” while it will also reveal details about days and dramas we have “never heard about”.

A description of the book reads: “This book is about the days you’ve never heard about, the games that mean the most to them and the dramas they’d almost forgotten.

“It’s about the heroes who did things that are best forgotten, let alone be told, and the enduring love for the wonderful game of rugby.”

Mr Tindall’s new book, which is available to preorder on Amazon, will be 288 pages long and available in a Kindle edition as well as a hardcover.

The hardcover costs £22, while the digital version is priced at £14.99.
