Meghan Markle surprised fans this week with the announcement of her new rebranded lifestyle business As Ever, which is set to launch this Spring.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, took to Instagram with a video explaining her new brand and launched the business’s official website and new logo.

While no products are currently available to buy, royal fans were quick to notice how Meghan had a picture of herself and her daughter Princess Lilibet, three, on the website as they ran hand-in-hand across a patch of grass.

This came as a surprise to many as since quitting royal life in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have tried to keep their personal lives private, which has meant they have only released very few pictures of their two children.

They have also opted to keep their children’s faces out of photographs over the last few years, which is believed to be for safety reasons.

However, a royal expert now believes that Meghan’s business decision to include a picture of Lilibet on her website could be ringing “alarm bells” for Prince Harry.

Royal expert Duncan Larcombe told OK!: “Given Harry’s views on publicity, fans were probably shocked to see Lilibet again so soon.

“If Harry could wave a magic wand, I think he’d want a world where his children would never be recognised or seen as public property in any way, because he hated that himself. He’s wrestled with it his whole life.

“But Meghan is building a brand, and that is somewhat at odds with a life out of the limelight, so this is where alarm bells might start to ring down the line for Harry.”

He continued: “She’s sharing their children tentatively, but it’s a very big deal because it’s a tap they won’t get to turn off.”

Since relocating to Montecito five years ago, Harry has been keen to live a life away from the cameras, something he believed could never be achieved in the UK because of his royal heritage.

This is also one of the reasons Harry has not wanted to share many pictures of his children, with one friend of the duke claiming this was a result of security fears.

The friend once told People: “Harry has been reluctant to show his children publicly, not out of a desire to hide them but to protect their privacy and safety from potential threats.

“He wants them to lead as normal a life as possible without the fear of kidnapping or harm.”
