Dampier added: “Meghan will likely talk about the comparisons made in the press between them and may come across as bitter.”
He also said that if Meghan were to criticize Kate in her memoir, it would lessen any chances of reconciliation between the Sussexes and the Cambridges.
Dampier said: “It really would be the last straw, and I doubt William and Kate would ever talk to Harry again.
“While Meghan may not directly criticize the late Queen, she could reveal private conversations, which would be troubling for the royal family.”
In addition to rumors of a potential memoir, some are speculating Prince Harry’s return to the UK in search for a new home.
But royal expert Tessa Dunlop argued the move would not align with the Sussexes’ current efforts.
Dunlop said: “His recent visits to the UK have included a costly legal battle with the British press, a brief appearance at a coronation event, and a charity event in Germany. These actions do not suggest that he is about to start house-hunting in the UK.”
She added that if Harry and Meghan were to move back to the UK, it would be more practical for them to stay with family on the Windsor estate or in one of London’s working palaces with tight security.
Dunlop added: “It is the British public who are missing Harry, rather than the other way around.”
