Meghan Markle has sparked speculation about a potential change of style after she was spotted chatting with top fashion guru Jamie Mizrahi.

The pair were seen sharing a pre-show dinner before Katy Perry’s concert in Las Vegas earlier this week with Prince Harry and other celebrities including Cameron Diaz.

Mizrahi, 35, is the creative director of Juicy Couture and counts Perry as one of her top clients. She has also worked as a stylist for Eva Mendes and Nicole Richie.

A source noted she has long been the go-to designer for celebrities seeking to “reinvent” their style.

They told The Mirror: “They were deep in conversation. It looked like Meghan is going for a restyle and Jamie is the go-to stylist for every Hollywood A-lister, including Katy Perry and Britney Spears.

“The Sussex brand has been damaged in recent months and Meghan probably thinks a new look will be good for business.”

The last year has been one of fluctuating fortunes for the Duchess of Sussex, who kicked off 2023 with a drop in her popularity following the release of her and Prince Harry’s Netflix docuseries as well as the Duke’s memoir.

They have also continued to face a backlash over their use of private jets, most recently embarking on a 720-mile round trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas to catch the final performance of Katy Perry’s residency.

Their shift away from publicly criticising the Royal Family has left royal commentators questioning what Meghan and Harry are planning to do next.

A new style could signal Meghan is indeed severing the final ties to her royal life to usher in her long-awaited return to social media.

The Duchess was previously styled by Nina Hallworth for her Time magazine cover, and the Maria Means Cote, Prada’s celebrity relations manager.

Relying on a stylist marked a significant change from Meghan’s time as a member of the Royal Family, as her wedding makeup artist Daniel Martin revealed the Duchess mostly picked her outfits herself.

Working with Mizrahi would ensure Meghan gets to have her looks carefully curated while at the same time donning outfits that allow her to best represent who she is.

In an interview with The Outnet, the stylist explained she wants her clients to feel “comfortable” with themselves and what they are wearing.

She said: “I don’t really follow trends. And my way of dressing my clients is [to put them in] what makes them feel comfortable, what makes them feel empowered and confident in what they’re wearing because I don’t think you can really look your best unless you are comfortable.”
