Netflix released the third – and likely final – trailer for ‘With Love, Meghan’ ahead of the launch of the eight-episode programme on March 4. And fans of the Duchess of Sussex were sent into a frenzy as they got to see a few more snippets from the show. The new teaser trailer shows Meghan making a large rainbow-coloured platter of fruit on a chopping board and arranging it into a pretty design with cloud-shaped dollops of yoghurt.
The Duchess of Sussex says in the clip released on Instagram: “You don’t have to do a big platter of this. You could do this with one small row for your kids for breakfast, genuinely, and it makes the morning a lot more fun.” The update has sparked an instant reaction from fans on Instagram, who have commented on Netflix’s official account. One wrote: “I can’t wait to watch this! I think we need some joy and love in this world.”
Another exclaimed: “You can love her or not she is great mom and wife. What is important in life is to be happy and they are happy.”
While arranging the fruit, and dressed in a muted brown ensemble, Meghan adds: “It’s a real delight in being able to be a present parent, and it’s a luxury sometimes, because we all have to work. We all have a lot of stuff to do, but when you can take a minute to just…”
One of the filming crew members adds “Saturday morning” with Meghan sighing and agreeing. She adds: “Finding the fun in those moments makes for a really sweet start to the weekend.”
Commenting on the trailer, another fan on Instagram exclaims: “Whew we need some light in this world…looking forward to this being a bit of escape.”
However, some criticised Meghan for the simplicity of her work. One wrote on YouTube: “Oh, thank heavens she explained how to make a rainbow with fruit! Such an original idea.”
Another said: “Who eats this way? Honestly, this is only for people that have money, plus what parent has time?”
One YouTube user mocked the idea, writing: “A stunning display of culinary talent. She lined up some overly priced fruit and added some sprinkles.”
The clip on Netflix’s Instagram account is captioned: “Find the fun in the every day moments” with a rainbow emoji followed by “With Love, Meghan premieres tomorrow! @meghan”.
Ahead of Tuesday’s premiere, Meghan gave an interview to US magazine People, and opened up about the “learning curve” she experienced with her lifestyle series and brand, admitting there had been “tons of twists and turns”.
The Duchess of Sussex also said she did not identify as an influencer and she thanked those who “gave me the grace to make mistakes and figure it out”.
Meghan renamed her lifestyle brand As Ever, switching from the name American Riviera Orchard just weeks before the launch after facing trademarking setbacks.
With Love, Meghan airs on the streaming platform at 8am in the UK on Tuesday, after being delayed from a January date due to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.
