Yesterday, Meghan, 42, was reunited with Harry, 38, after spending almost a week apart when she joined him at a reception for 1,600 athletes and their friends and family.

And today, the couple were seen holding hands and giving each other simple touches, but Judi James told Fabulous: “These look like public statements and we can see from the long shots they must be aware all eyes are on them.

“There’s very few intimate ‘lost alone together’ moments here or capacity for having one at these venues.

“So many are looking like intentional gestures to register to the world that they are very much a devoted couple.”

Judi observed that the “sweet touches and loving glances” exchanged between the pair appears as though “Meghan is intent on charming her prince via signals of flattery and affection as she did in the early days of their marriage.”

We saw Meghan gently rest her hand on her husband’s shoulder, and Judi said this is a signal Meghan is “going to talk and that Harry might need to wait to take his turn.”

The royals looked in high spirits as they entered the basketball court while keen sports fans applauded.

Judi added of their entrance: “[They were] stamping their brand as the Invictus’s own A-list celebrity couple as they arrived hand in hand, walking quickly and keenly as the crowds went wild, before taking their seats to make the Games a fully immersive experience.”

She continued: “Harry suddenly looked more comfortable to be gently but proudly towing his wife along with their signature hand clasp firmly back in place along with their twinned beaming smiles.”

The Duke and Duchess got into the spirit of the games as they waved their hands from side to side along with the raucous crowd.

Eagle-eyed fans also spotted that the Duchess was not wearing her sparkling engagement ring which features two of the late Princess Diana’s diamonds.

The couple are later expected to attend the swimming finals at 5pm and wheelchair basketball finals at 7pm UK time.

Meg landed in the German city last night and was photographed after being driven from the airport’s VIP area around 4pm local time.

Hours after arriving, the Duchess of Sussex gave a speech at a private reception.

German media outlets have reported that the Duchess will also deliver a “very emotional” closing speech during the farewell ceremony on September 16.

The Invictus Games, for disabled military veterans, features a host of different sports and challenges.

Across the pond, Meghan’s sister-in-law Princess Kate has been busy this week with royal engagements – visiting inmates in prison who are struggling with addiction.

Since the last games in The Hague, in the Netherlands, in 2022, Harry has brought out his tell-all memoir Spare and six-part Netflix series and attended the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and coronation of his father King Charles.
