The Sun can reveal he worked for Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim, 42, in 2016 — before and after she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.
Another of Kim’s former bodyguards, Steve Stanulis, said: “These are guys who come from a small pool of elite bodyguards, from either police or military backgrounds.
“Usually if a guy is good enough to work for high-profile stars, it’s not unusual for them to be sought-after.
“Not only for protection, but also for clout. It looks good.”
Steve, now a filmmaker, added: “Kim’s security will be paramount. It’s no different for Harry and Meghan — they are world-famous and equally as vulnerable.”
It comes after Harry, 38, and Meghan fired former Michael Jackson minder Alberto Alvarez, one of several they have employed.
It is understood the couple — parents to Archie, four, and Lilibet, 23 months — had concerns about drink-driving convictions and a domestic violence complaint.
Their taxpayer-funded security stopped in 2020. Elite bodyguards can charge £1,500 a day.
Last night a security source told The Sun the new man was employed by TorchStone Global, the firm Alvarez worked for.
They said: “Meghan and Harry have used a lot of different close protection personnel.
“There have been some stresses based on concerns they have expressed.”
Kim K had £7million of jewellery stolen at her Paris hotel in 2016.
