Meghan Markle breaks silence after brutal Jimmy Fallon attack with two word post | Royal | News

Meghan Markle has seemingly decided to ignore the latest attacks on her Netflix show With Love, Meghan. US television host Jimmy Fallon joked about Meghan, 43, making her own pretzel bags during an episode of her show.

The Duchess of Sussex has now posted a new picture on the Instagram account of her brand As Ever. The picture shows her chopping strawberries. She wrote “Bite-sized bliss”.

During the Trivia Night segment on The Tonight Show, Jimmy’s sidekick Steve Higgins asked him a number of questions – including one about the Duchess’s eight-part series.

Speaking to Jimmy, Steve said: “Ready, you’re going to get this. What is the number one question that mystifies scientists? Number one question.” Jimmy then suggested: “Is there life on another planet?,” before Steve said, “Ooh, no. Why does Meghan Markle make her own pretzel bags? They don’t know why.”

Fallon laughed and replied: “That’s interesting. She takes it from one bag and puts it in another bag, and that confuses people.”

The comment made by Jimmy was seen as a big at a scene in Meghan Markle’s cooking series “With Love, Meghan”, which showed the duchess moving pre-packaged pretzels into another bag with a personalised label on them.

Some critics picked up on the scene after the show aired on March 4 and mocked the duchess.

Meghan’s latest Instagram post on her brand account As Ever comes just a day after she posted an aerial photograph of herself walking barefoot in her Montecito garden.

In the snap, Meghan is sporting light blue denim jeans, a white top and an unbuttoned white shirt. The mum-of-two is also wearing a wide-brimmed hat as she carries a watering can.

The photograph was captioned: “Daily rituals.”

It is believed the duchess is posting these photographs in the build-up to the official launch of her As Ever products, with the date of this yet to be confirmed.
