Meghan Markle was all smiles last night as she headed out for a sushi dinner with a friend at Asanebo Restaurant in Los Angeles.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, dressed casually in dark grey skinny jeans and a matching jumper with her long brunette locks in loose curls as she stepped out without her husband Prince Harry.

She wore minimal make up and accessorised with ballet pumps and a Goyard Bellechasse Biaude PM bag worth £2894 ($3,670), as seen in pictures obtained by Page Six.

Earlier in the day she was spotted eating lunch at Cipriani Beverly Hills with the designer of her wedding dress, former Givenchy creative director Clare Waight Keller. It is not sure which friend joined her for dinner at the exclusive sushi restaurant.

Meghan’s husband did not join her for either of the outings on Thursday, though last week they put on a loved up display as they headed to Canada to mark the one year to go celebrations for the first winter edition of the Invictus Games.

She decided to dress casually for the occasion, in skinny jeans with a washed out detail and a knitted jumper that she tucked into her trousers.

The Duchess held onto her designer handbag and her long grey coat as she stepped out of her car and headed into the restaurant.

Meghan wore her trademark brunette locks down, after debuting a new hairstyle in Canada last week. She tweaked her colouring slightly, opting for a fresh and deep chocolate chestnut brown.

Her colourist, Kadi Lee of Highbrow Hippie Atelier, in Los Angeles, took to Instagram, to explain how she achieved her new look.

She said: “Chocolate chestnut brunette, for Meghan, Duchess of Sussex for Invictus Games.

“This mixture of red and golden undertones makes a dynamic shade of brunette that not only gives skin the healthiest glow, especially during the colder months of winter, it also provides the hair with a next level high power shine.”

Prince Harry did not join Meghan in LA last night, and her dinner companion is unknown.

But her husband likely stayed at home looking after their two young children, Prince Archie, four, and Prince Archie, two, while Meghan enjoyed an evening out with a friend.

The Sussex family reside in the exclusive Montecitor neighbour, about two hours away from LA.
