Prince Harry and Meghan Markle evoke strong feelings of both love and hate on both sides of the pond, but conservative commentator Candace Owens is one of those people who has genuine enmity for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

“I’m a big believer that this issue can only be solved if they agree to move to Canada,” she told GBNews. “I don’t think that either America or the UK should have to put up with this any longer.”

She continued: “There’s no question that their stock has degraded very quickly over time. You know, the press was very favourable to them when they first made the move, and I think that can largely be contributed to what was going on politically at that moment.”

According to Owens, Meghan Markle used the Black Lives Matter movement to make a “pity play” for American sympathies — and it worked.

“It was the rise of Black Lives Matter, Meghan was very happy to use that to her advantage,” she claimed.

Owens didn’t go into further detail about how Meghan Markle used the Black Lives Matter movement to her advantage, and neither is there any evidence that Madame Duchess had any affiliation with Black Lives Matter.

But Owens insists that the two are somehow connected, and feels that Meghan Markle consistently tries to portray herself as a poor put-upon flower.

“We get it, you’re a victim,” Owens said. “There is no question that the appetite for Harry and Meghan has completely collapsed over time.”

She continued: “I can tell that just in my show, and I can tell it just in my reaction to it. When I see a piece of news about them, I’m not inclined to click it anymore.

“When something happens and there’s a story and people say, do you want to cover it? My producer pitched it to me a couple of weeks ago, I said fine.

“The numbers were horrible, people didn’t want to watch it,” she concluded.
