This has been a busy week for State Visits with the third getting under way. King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark have welcomed President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt to Copenhagen.
The President of Egypt arrived on Thursday evening; however, the Danish King and Queen formally welcomed him on Friday morning.
He arrived at Christian VII’s Palace at Amalienborg Palace where they officially welcomed him to Denmark. Amalienborg is the working home of the Danish monarch.

After watching a guard of honour parade, there was a wreath-laying ceremony at The Citadel, a military complex dating back to the seventeenth century.
King Frederik, Queen Mary and President El-Sisi then returned to Amalienborg for a private discussion, before the Danish king and President El-Sisi attended a Danish-Egyptian trade forum.
There will also be a State Dinner at Christiansborg Palace on Friday evening.

Queen Mary, ever sustainable in her fashion choices, reached into her closet for a rewear. She wore the Finchley Coat from The Fold in green. The coat features shoulder pleats and a softly flaring skirt for an elegant silhouette.
She chose a grey wrapped fascinator, light grey pumps, and a dark grey clutch handbag to finish her look off.
