The King has travelled to London for the next stage of his cancer treatment.

His Majesty arrived in the capital, with The Queen, from his home at Sandringham in Norfolk.

Buckingham Palace said that King Charles will undergo a regular schedule of treatment for cancer and will step back from public engagements while it continues.

The first session of treatment was carried out in London in the first days of February after His Majesty was diagnosed following tests suggested by doctors treating him for a benign enlarged prostate.

King Charles returned to Sandringham following that first session and was seen, with The Queen, attending church at St. Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham estate.

They appeared in good spirits as they waved to wellwishers and photographers.

Queen Camilla will maintain a full schedule of engagements. The King will continue with his constitutional duties behind palace doors.
