The King was discharged from The London Clinic on Monday, waving as he left the private hospital with his wife at his side. He was admitted on Friday to undergo his planned operation for an enlarged prostate, Buckingham Palace announced.

Today, the Queen appeared in good spirits as she met Maggie’s architectural team who helped design the centre so it’s a safe and welcoming environment.

Camilla met members of staff, volunteers as well as visitors to the centre and talked about how it has supoprted them and their families.
