King Charles III welcomes President Biden to Windsor – Royal Central

The King and the US President have met at Windsor as Joe Biden’s brief visit to the UK continues.

His Majesty greeted the President to the castle in a ceremonial welcome that included an inspection of a Guard of Honour.

President Biden flew by helicopter to Windsor before being driven to the Quadrangle where His Majesty was waiting. King Charles walked to the President’s car to welcome him as soon as he stepped out.

The two men then took their places on the dais where the US national anthem was played.

Almost 100 soldiers from The Prince of Wales’s Company of The Welsh Guards paraded for King Charles and President Biden with The King’s Colour.

The King and the President then inspected a Guard of Honour.

The visit continued with an audience inside the castle and meetings with dignitaries.

President Biden is on a day long visit to the UK before he heads to the NATO meeting in Lithuania.

Earlier, the US President met UK Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, at Number Ten Downing Street for talks.
