King Charles and Prince Edward sent royal fans into a frenzy yesterday as they enjoyed a rare outing together in Windsor. The King, 76, was accompanied by his younger brother, 61, at the Royal Windsor Horse Show on Saturday, where they watched the competition together, along with Edward’s wife Duchess Sophie.
The monarch was all smiles at the event, which he last attended in 2024. He dressed smartly for the occasion, wearing smart trousers, a white shirt, a tie and a blazer jacket, finishing off his look with a pair of sunglasses.
Since the outing on Saturday, royal fans have been sent into a frenzy over seeing the brothers together, something that they usually only see at big royal events.
One fan wrote on X: “This is lovely seeing the brothers together. Edward reminds me so much of his father.”
Another said: “It’s rare to see them this close. It’s nice to see.”
A third wrote: “Two brothers just enjoying their shared love of countryside and horses which was instilled in them by their mother.”
Someone else commented: “They look very close now, and I expect they are!”
Royal fans were also pleased to see Duchess Sophie at the event yesterday, with many complimenting her outfit.
The duchess stepped out wearing a Ghost London Aueline Moon-Print dress and a Isabel Marant Loyana Jacket.
She accompanied this with a Sophie Habsburg Paloma bag and TOMS Valencia Canvas Platform Espadrilles shoes.
