ITV HAS announced a huge scheduling shake-up with special episodes of their daytime programmes.
The broadcaster has finally confirmed its coverage plans for the Coronation of King Charles.
In the run up to his Majesty’s coronation, ITV will host a week of special programming.
Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and This Morning will each recognise and celebrate the Coronation.
GMB will hear from a variety of experts including close friends of the King and Queen Consort, with Hugo Vickers and Andrew Morton already confirmed.
Lorraine Kelly will front her own show which will feature different guests for each day that focuses on a different aspect of the big day.
On Friday, the 63-year-old will dedicate the entire show to the Coronation, with content including the best food for Coronation street parties to the most fashionable party looks.
Meanwhile, This Morning and Coronation Street will come together an epic telly crossover.
A bumper 150-minute episode of the beloved daytime programme will broadcast live from the cobbles of Weatherfield.
Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary will present the show.
The Loose Women will transform their studio into a gigantic Coronation garden as producers host a green-themed royal knees up, in honour of His Majesty The King.
On the following Monday, Loose Women will be extended to a 75-minute show for the Bank Holiday.
ITV News King Charles III: The Coronation will broadcast from 8:30am on Saturday, May 6, with rolling coverage of the day.
