The Prince and Princess of Wales are keen to keep life as “normal” as possible for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – and it’s no different for Halloween.
Much like many children around the world, George, 11, Charlotte, 9, and six-year-old Louis will also be out treat-or-tricking on October 31.
Last October, Kate and William’s old neighbour Jay Rutland – who is the husband of Tamara Ecclestone – revealed that the mother of three was out trick-or-treating around Kensington.
At the time, Jay said: “Kate knocked on our door in London with their kids on Halloween. ‘Trick or Treating’. Very friendly and down-to-earth.” Photographs from the family of five’s outing were posted by HELLO! magazine.
Kate, 42, was famously spotted browsing Halloween costumes with George and Charlotte at the Harwick branch of Sainsbury’s in Kings Lynn – close to their Amner Hall Norfolk home – back in 2019.
Reporting the outing at the time, fellow shopper Kathy Whittaker told The Mirror: “She was with Charlotte and George looking at Halloween outfits but her bodyguard was kind of watching people with phones and telling them no pictures. I managed to get the photo of her at the self-service checkout.
“I didn’t see what she actually bought. The lady that told me she was there had children with her and she said Kate was asking her children what they were going to be for Halloween. I think she bought some Halloween bits for her kids but I don’t know what.”
A palace insider previously told PEOPLE that Prince William loves the “normal” routine that his wife has in place for their children.
The insider said: “Those children look pretty happy with life. A lot of it is the stabilising normality Kate brings — and that’s how she grew up. William absolutely loves it.”
