Prince Harry is said to have offered King Charles a “subtle show of support”, which is something that could see the royal feud come to an end.
A Royal Family expert has claimed the Duke of Sussex, who now resides in the US, could be trying to send a “subtle” message to his father through his recent solo trips.
Without his wife Meghan Markle by his side, Harry has paid visits to New York, London, and South Africa within the past few weeks.
During Harry’s short visit to London, King Chares remained in Scotland, but an expert has shared that – although they didn’t meet – Harry appeared to be sending a subtle nod to his father while out on his charitable endeavours.
Speaking on behalf of Slingo, former royal butler Grant Harrold – who previously worked for Charles – said: “Diana was a massive advocate for so many charities, and Harry has been inspired by that.
This trip has seen Harry speak about his mother and her legacy and it’s definitely a tribute to her. But he’s also spoken passionately about climate change, which is a cause close to his father’s heart.
“I have no doubt he was honouring his father too. He loves and respects Charles and has a great deal of admiration for him.
“I think he’s wanted to go out there and give a nod of support to his dad and maybe he’ll hope that Charles will see this and get behind him.”
Harry has made several visits to the UK this year – including meeting his father during a quick trip back in February. This visit came just hours after the King’s cancer diagnosis was made public.
The 40-year-old also chose to attend the funeral of his late uncle Lord Robert Fellowes – the husband of Princess Diana’s sister Lady Jane Fellowes – in August.
During this trip, Harry did not meet up with his father – although it was also attended by Prince William. Sources who saw the brothers’ said that they did not appear to speak to each other at the funeral.
