A PALACE café was found selling Freddo chocolate bars for £1.50 — six times their suggested price of 25p.
Hampton Court Palace, owned by King Charles, has since cut the Cadbury treat to 90p.

That still only buys 18g, or two bites, of the frog-shaped snack.
One customer said: “It’s outrageous. I know it’s being sold at a palace but surely even William isn’t forking out £1.50 for Prince George’s Freddos?”
Freddos cost 10p when relaunched in the 1990s. Some shops were selling them for 50p earlier this year.
The Freddo Price Index, created by moneysaving site Voucher Cloud, says they should be 16p.
Danny Munday, who helped create the index, said: “It’s intriguing and concerning to observe a single Freddo bar ‘leap-frogging’ to £1.50.”
Cadbury parent Mondelez said: “The official RRP for a Freddo single remains at 25p.
“Retailers are free to set their own prices.”
