King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain led the Spanish Royal Family at the Funeral of Juan Gómez-Acebo, Viscount of La Torre at the Iglesia Catedral de las Fuerzas Armadas in Madrid on September 8th, almost a month after his death from cancer in Palma de Mallorca on August 12th.
The extended Spanish Royal Family gathered for the Funeral of Juan Gómez-Acebo, Viscount of La Torre, son of the late Infanta Pilar of Spain, Duchess of Badajoz and Luis Gómez-Acebo y Duque de Estrada, Viscount de la Torre, at the Iglesia Catedral de las Fuerzas Armadas, the Iglesia del Sacramento, in Madrid.
Earlier in the morning, King Felipe VI, Infanta Cristina, and Princess Alexia of Greece were among the members of the Royal Family who deposited the ashes of the late Viscount of La Torre in the Family Pantheon at the Saint Isidore Cemetery in Madrid.
